SAFETY Act Designated
The SAFETY (Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technology) Act provides important legal liability protections for providers of Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technologies - whether they are products or services. Congress enacted the SAFETY Act in 2002 to encourage the development and deployment of new and innovative anti-terrorism products and services by providing liability protections.
The legislation ensures that the threat of liability does not deter companies from developing and commercializing technologies that could significantly reduce the risks or mitigate the effects of large-scale terrorist events.

"SAFETY Act Designation further validates our commitment to our customers - the public safety, health and emergency management communities who will benefit from effective incident command and response capabilities - all the while doing so with congressionally-approved liability protections."
