Long-Term Care (LTC)
Disaster strikes... Long-term care facilities are forced to evacuate or shelter-in-place...
How effective is information sharing between your nursing homes and emergency support agencies? Is the right information accessible, or is it stored in multiple formats and fragmented locations resulting in unclear operating pictures of bed counts, resource inventories, and contact information? How visible are potential overlaps in committed resources such as transportation providers and shelters? Do long term care facility emergency operations plans support regulatory requirements?
Previstar LTC meets these challenges at an affordable price.
Previstar Long Term Care (LTC) is a web-based "nursing home-centric control center" that increases LTC facility emergency preparedness and provides decision support to agencies - such as State Public Health and Emergency Management Agencies - that assist LTC communities during disruptive events.
The system was developed through a collaborative effort with leaders from the University of Georgia College of Public Health, Institute for Health Management Mass Destruction Defense, the Georgia Health Care Association, and over 300 nursing homes.
Similar to CPS, LTC's web based platform reaches vertically and horizontally across organizational boundaries to all authorized stakeholders that need access to the system to provide or receive critical information. LTC is currently offered as a hosted service with secure, redundant database systems where service and support is available 24/7.
